Transportation between the airport and the port of Vienna

Vienna Airport is located about twenty kilometres from the city centre.

The city airport train (CAT) is the fastest way to get between the airport and the city centre (Wien Mitte). The journey takes about 16 minutes and departures are every 30 minutes.

If you opt for a taxi, there is a fixed price between the city centre and the airport (maximum 4 passengers). You must specify that you are going to the airport when booking the taxi in order to avoid additional charges.

The Railjet train also connects the airport with Vienna’s main station or Vienna’s Meidling station. The S7 city train makes stops in Wien Mitte and Praterstern and allows transfers to the metro lines. If you have the Vienna City Card, you can benefit from discounts.

Anker Clock
