The Port of Trois-Rivières is located halfway between Montréal and Québec City. Trois-Rivières is located on the St. Lawrence River at the mouth of the Saint-Maurice River where the river separates into three channels, hence the origin of the name of the city. It is the second-oldest French-speaking city in America. In the region, there are many historical sites, a large national park and museums that testify to the historical industrial vocation of the region. The city is full of restaurants, cafes and bars that feature the bear of local breweries.
