Tortola
British Virgin Islands

**Tortola cruise port ** is locaton on one of the fifty islands of the British Virgin Islands, of which only 16 are inhabited. Other popular islands are Norman Island, Jost Van Dyke, Peter Island, Marina Cay and the beautiful Virgin Gorda.

The climate of the British Virgin Islands is relatively dry. The vegetation is therefore composed of oily plants and cacti. The island was for a long time a den housing pirates who attacked and plundered Spanish ships. Today the island is very safe and its residents very friendly.
