Where is located the Saguenay cruise port Cruise Terminal

Your ship will dock in the heart of the La Baie sector in the city of Saguenay. If there is more than one ship in port, you could anchor in the bay called “Baie des Ha! Ha!” The cruise terminal offers all expected services. You will be warmly welcome from the actors of the show “The fabulous story of a kingdom”. Many restaurants and a craft market can be found near the cruise pavilion.

Travelling around the Saguenay Cruise Port

“Taxi Sourire” with accredited drivers offer tailor-made tours lasting from 1h to 6h. These taxis can be found directly at the cruise pier.
Two hop-on hop-off minibus tours allow you to see the city’s attractions as well as the Fjord Museum.

Notre-Dame-du-Saguenay statue (in French)

This 7.5-meter statue of the Virgin Mary is located on Cape Trinity. You will see it from your cruise ship. You can also hike in the Parc du Fjord du Saguenay to get there and have splendid views of the fjord.

The Fjord Museum presents exhibits on the marine ecosystem of the Saguenay Fjord. There is a giant aquarium, 3D presentations and a pool where you can interact with marine species.

La Pulperie

This museum established in the facilities of the former Chicoutimi Pulp Company presents the history of this company and the importance of this industry for the region. An exhibition on the Arthur-Villeneuve House showcases the work of a painter who used his house as a canvas. Temporary exhibitions are also on display.

The Little White House (in French)

This little house survived the terrible flood of 1996. It symbolizes the resilience of the citizens of Saguenay. You will discover the history of its occupants and the tragic events of the flood.

Bagotville Air Defence Museum

Learn about the history of Canadian military aviation and take control of a CF-18 Hornet simulator. A guided tour of the military base is also offered.
