Where is located the Port of Nassau Cruise Terminal

Ships dock at Prince George Wharf in the centre of the city and near the tourist information kiosk. Seven boats can dock there, making the port of Nassau one of the busiest in the region.

Travelling around the Nassau Cruise Port

Minibuses are in fontion in the area. A line goes to Cable Beach. Pay the driver directly. The cost is about $1.25 depending on the line.
Taxis are available at the port.
You can rent a car, but remember that driving is done on the left in the island. Traffic is also very heavy around the port.

Fort Charlotte

The fort is located on a hill on the west side of the harbour. It was built in 1788. Guided tours are offered and cannon fire can be heard at noon.

An artificial island accessible by ferry from the port. There are a number of aquatic activities. For activities with dolphins, it is best to book in advance. The complex is equipped with showers and changing rooms.

Queen’s Staircase

Climb the 66 steps of the Queen’s Staircase, accessible via Elizabeth Avenue Street, for a view of the city from the Fort ($1 +taxes)
