The nearest town, Inverness, is 27 km to the south and can be reached by bus or train. The train is not very frequent and the journey is about 1 hour.

The 25X bus runs every 30 minutes on High Street in Invergordon. The journey to Inverness is 45 minutes. For the return trip to Invergordon, take the 25X bus from Inverness Bus Station.
