Half Moon Cay, Bahamas

Half Moon Cay Bahamas

Half Moon Cay has been Holland America’s private island since 1997. Some Carnival ships also stop there. Only part of the island is developed. The rest of the island is preserved to protect migratory bird species.

Several activities are offered on the island. Its crescent-shaped beach stretches for four kilometres. A buffet is also served free of charge on the island. An indoor bay allows water sports and personal watercraft. A chapel offers the opportunity to celebrate a wedding or renew your vows.

The ship’s card is accepted for tour payments and in bars, but the money is needed at the flea market (USD).
