Grand Turk Island
 Turks and Caicos Islands

Grand Turk cruise port is located on a small island 7 kilometers long and nearly 2 kilometers wide. Grand Turk is the capital of Turks and Caicos and has a population of 4,500. These islands are surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean and are theoretically not part of the Caribbean or the Bahamas.

In 1962, astronaut John Glen landed near the island when the Friendship 7 capsule returned to Earth. A free outdoor exhibition is located near the port.

If you mostly like to bask on the beach, no need to leave the port, because the beach at the end of the wharf is very beautiful.

The hurricane season is from June to November.

Solutions to avoid seasickness on a cruise

Seasickness is caused by conflicting signals sent to the brain through the inner ear and the eyes. The inner ear senses movement that the eyes cannot see, causing discomfort and nausea.
