The pier is located in the centre of Ajaccio near the convention centre and the main square where a public market is held every day in the morning (except Monday).

Several beaches are within taxi distance or by the bus line #5 which goes to the Sanguinaires Islands. The #8 line goes to Tahiti beach near the airport. A sea shuttle (20-30 min) goes to Porticcio and Marina Viva beach.
