Silversea’s Silver Origin was custom designed to explore the Galápagos Islands by offering magnificent views of the islands with generous floor-to-ceiling windows.
This 100-passenger luxury ship offers an expedition program by guides certified by the Galapagos National Park as well as authentic Ecuadorian cuisine prepared by Ecuadorian chefs. The ship has 8 zodiacs, which makes it possible to offer tailor-made experiences for travelers.
Basecamp
The Basecamp lounge is where you’ll meet other travelers to socialize before and after the excursions. A large interactive screen, educational activities led by the expedition team will allow you to learn more about the beautiful ecosystem of the Galapagos Islands.
Explorer Lounge
Each day, in the Explorer Lounge, the expedition team will explain the day’s activities and make presentations about the Galapagos Islands. With the lounge benefiting from large windows, you can admire the surrounding landscape while relaxing, a glass of champagne or wine in hand. A large selection of spirits, wines and champagnes are included in the price of your cruise.
In its outdoor area, you can breathe fresh air around the fireplace.
Observation Lounge
At the front of the ship is the Observation Lounge from where you will have a 180-degree perspective on the landscape and can consult books about the destination in the library.
Suites
The Silver Origin offers eight categories of suites, all of which have a private balcony.
Some suites have a Horizon balcony with a floor-to-ceiling window that allows for increased cabin interior space.
Other suites will have a bath and shower with sea views.
The Restaurant and The Grill
The Restaurant and The Grill are the two restaurants that offer authentic cuisine consisting of fresh, local foods and wines from the region.
The Gill is an outdoor restaurant that can be partially closed to ensure passenger comfort.
