Several cruise lines have announced new cruise ships for 2026. New brands are also extending their activities into the cruise industry. The maiden voyages of these ships are always very popular with cruise enthusiasts. Here is a list of the new ships scheduled to launch in 2026.

Disney Adventure

Disney Adventure

The launch of the Disney Adventure has been delayed until 2026. The ship, which will be the largest in the Disney fleet, will be based in Asia and will offer 3- or 4-night voyages departing from Singapore. The ship will feature 7 themed areas throughout. The worlds of Disney, Marvel, and Pixar will come to life on board. The first roller coaster on a Disney ship will be located on the upper deck. This ship was originally intended for Dream Cruises, which went bankrupt. Disney then purchased the ship, which was under construction, and converted it into a Disney ship.

Four Seasons I

The Four Seasons I, the first ship in the Four Seasons Yachts collection, will launch in 2026 and will reinvent luxury cruising by offering passengers the brand’s legendary service and experience. With its 95 exclusive, residential-style suites, guests will enjoy personalized and authentic service thanks to a crew-to-guest ratio of one per guest. Onboard amenities include 11 restaurants, a state-of-the-art marina open during Marina Days, a spa, and much more.

Emerald Kaia

Accommodating only 128 passengers, the Emerald Kaia offers luxurious onboard space and unique experiences that will elevate your cruise. The panoramic sun deck, located at the front of the ship, features a new whirlpool, sun loungers, and deck chairs, creating the perfect setting to relax and admire spectacular views. An innovative gym opens onto an indoor/outdoor space. At the rear of the yacht, on the sun-drenched pool deck, you’ll find an Aqua Pool infinity pool and a café.

Norwegian Luna

Norwegian Luna

The Norwegian Luna will be the fourth ship in the Prima Plus class, slightly larger (approximately 10%) than previous Prima ships. Renowned artist ELLE created a captivating artwork for the hull of the Norwegian Luna.

This ship boasts numerous new features and innovative onboard experiences, such as the Aqua Slidecoaster, a hybrid between a roller coaster and a water slide, considered one of the longest and fastest at sea.

A new musical show called Rocket Man, a tribute to Elton John, will be presented on board the Luna. The ship will sail to Bermuda, the Bahamas, and the Caribbean.

Viking Mira

The Viking Mira is Viking’s thirteenth ocean-going ship and continues Viking’s tradition of understated luxury. The Mira also offers a wide selection of comfortable restaurants, bars, and lounges, as well as generous inclusions such as shore excursions, wine and beer with meals, and Wi-Fi. The ship will feature a restaurant by renowned chef Yannick Alléno. A marina will allow for water sports. The ship will offer itineraries in the Mediterranean.

Royal Caribbean Legend of the Seas

The third ship in Royal Caribbean’s Icon class, the Legend of the Seas, promises to make a splash and offer unique experiences across its eight neighbourhoods. The Legend of the Seas will offer European adventures during summer 2026 with 7-night Western Mediterranean cruises, before heading to the Caribbean in November 2026 with 6-night Western Caribbean and 8-night Southern Caribbean cruises, including a stop at Perfect Day at CocoCay, Royal Caribbean’s flagship destination in the Bahamas.

Explora III

With 463 suites, penthouses, and residences, all featuring private terraces, the ship offers an atmosphere of refined yet relaxed luxury, reminiscent of a private yacht. Sporting Explora Journeys’ signature European design, the ship will offer seven distinct restaurants and 13 indoor and outdoor bars and lounges, creating a cosmopolitan setting conducive to relaxation and discovery. The MSC World Asia will be the third ship in MSC’s “World” class. Its design will be inspired by Asian culture with striking artistic elements, including a spectacular dragon sculpture in the World Promenade.

On board, passengers can choose from more than 40 bars, lounges, and restaurants, including the new Pan-Asian Street Food restaurant showcasing the flavours of Southeast Asia. The MSC World Asia will offer seven zones on board, each with a unique atmosphere, facilities, and experiences designed to help passengers navigate and create their own personalized holiday. These zones include Family Aventura, Zen Area, Aqua Deck, The Terraces, Galleria, Promenade, and the MSC Yacht Club.

With a capacity of just 822 passengers and 630 dedicated crew members, the Seven Seas Prestige will offer one of the highest crew-to-passenger ratios in the cruise industry: 40% larger than previous Regent ships, yet it accommodates only 10% more passengers, for truly unparalleled space at sea. During its inaugural season, the Seven Seas Prestige will offer 13 cruises, ranging from 10 to 15 nights, throughout Europe and the Caribbean, including two transatlantic crossings.

Winstar Star Explorer

This second new ship built specifically for Windstar features five restaurants, including the new specialty restaurant Basil + Bamboo, upgraded amenities, and 112 spacious ocean-view suites, almost all with a private veranda or panoramic window, as well as two new Horizon Owner suites with corner balconies.

The ship will also boast expansive sun decks with breathtaking views, a spa, and a completely redesigned marina, transforming the ocean into a private leisure space.
