Three years after the start of its construction, the Wonder of the Seas is ready to take the sea. Royal Caribbean welcomed the new ship in its fleet during a ceremony at Chantiers de l’Atlantique on January 27, 2021, in Marseille, France.

The Wonder of the Seas will begin operations in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on March 4, 2022. The new ship will make 7-night cruises in the Eastern and Western Caribbean. Itineraries will include a stopover at Royal Caribbean’s CocoCay Private Island.

This summer, the Wonder of the Seas will be positioned in the Mediterranean for trips between Barcelona and Rome visiting ports in Spain, France and Italy.

From November 2022, the liner will be positioned in Port Canaveral from where it will make cruises in the Caribbean year-round.

This ship, the 5th in the Oasis class, is the largest and will be able to accommodate 6,988 passengers. Passengers will be able to enjoy various dishes in the 9 restaurants included in the price of the cruise and the ten specialized restaurants. In the evenings and days at sea, you will find plenty of options to raise your glass and make a toast in the 11 bars and lounges will liven up.

In addition to many new features, you will find the classics that have made the Oasis class famous.

  • The suites, gathered in a neighborhood on decks 17 and 18, will have exclusive access to a restaurant (Costal Kitchen), a lounge and a swimming pool.
  • Ultimate Family Suite: This two-storey suite will accommodate 9 passengers. Inside you will find a slide. The dining room table turns into an air hockey table and a tennis table is on the balcony.
  • Ultimate Abyss: The highest slide of water at sea.
  • Adventure Ocean, Social100 and The Patio: Exclusive spaces where children and teenagers can meet and have fun.
  • FlowRider: The surf simulator.
  • A climbing wall.
  • Central Park has more than 20,000 plants.
