The Carnival Celebration, a ship of the same class as the Mardi Gras, will depart from Miami for its inaugural cruise on November 21. Carnival Cruise Line has given new details about this ship.

Celebration Central

The atrium, named Celebration Central, will span three decks and its ceiling will feature about 1,400 lights in different colors that will sparkle like a shower of confetti. Its floor-to-ceiling windows on the side of the ship can be transformed for shows and activities thanks to 16 individually controlled D.E.L. panels. Celebration Central will feature musical performances, aerial acrobatic performances and energetic shows with special effects.

Aquaria Bar

Elements from previous Carnival ships will be incorporated into the Celebration’s décor. In the Aquaria Bar, a decorative wall giving the impression that an aquarium is behind the bar, will be created with glass murals by the artist Luciano Vistosi that were originally in the Carnival Victory.

Ultimate Playground

At decks 18-20, you will find BOLT, The Ultimate Sea Coaster. A motorcycle-inspired vehicle will travel the 800-foot track at speeds of more than 60 km/h.

This area will also host a water park, mini-golf, a basketball court and an aerial ropes course.

Summer Landing zone

On Deck 8, in addition to the pools and whirlpools, you’ll find Guy’s Pig & Anchor Smokehouse Brewhouse, The Watering Hole poolside bar, and the Heroes Tribute Lounge in honor of military personnel.

Lido

In the area next to the pool on decks 16 and 17, you will find on two levels the RedFrog Tiki Bar, the Shaquille O’Neal’s Big Chicken restaurant as well as the very popular Guy’s Burger, Seafood Shack, and BlueIguana Cantina.
